The building yard is divided into two parts – two separately functioning premises – part for Aquatic Club and a temporary hostel. At the intersection of the two parts there is a roofing terrace, which is part of the mass of the building. The terrace is extended to the naked exterior. In front of the building there is a fireplace with seating. Paddlers, children and other visitors thus have the opportunity to sit in the open air space, under a roof or inside the building. The terrace is fitted with sliding shutters, which move as the door and in the absence of visitors it will act as a security measure. Windows are also designed with shutters.
The facade is designed as a concrete shell of concrete truss, which protects the building from the outside. The inner layer is a warm wood panelling. The shipyard is analogous inverted vessel, which is designed to protect against water from outside and inside which induces a safe and comfortable haven.
