The Isle of science resulting from the split of the original Imperial island. It is part of the Vltava floodplain revitalized area in the northern part of Prague. There are two real project designed scientific institutions – BIOCEV and GLOBCENTRUM. By combining these excellent research centres with great access to the city centre we have managed to create an important point on the route to the Zoo and Botanical Garden. The shape of the building is based on the morphology of the island and of necessity to face the flood water.
